RUN THE RELAY (199 miles), Calistoga to Santa Cruz
From the Calistoga Mineral Water Company in Napa Valley to the Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, "California's Longest Party" relays the message on donation through Organs 'R' Us ("ORU"). 12-member teams run 36 legs (3 legs per runner, 3-8.9 miles each) through 36 cities and across the Golden Gate Bridge at midnight. run@TheRelay.com, 650.508.9700.

DEAN KARNAZES WILL HOST FRIDAY DINNER AND SUNDAY AWARDS CEREMONY
After winning the Ultra Division in The Relay 13 times, Team Dean returns to defend his title. At the Calistoga Inn, Dean will speak of his adventures during his solo runs of 350 miles (The Relay 2005), 262 miles (The Relay 2004), 226 miles (The Relay 2003) and 199 miles (six times).
