TRAVEL INFORMATION

Welcome to "California's Longest Party" in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Relay course boasts the largest number of tourist destinations of any run.

AIRPORTS
are in San Francisco, Oakland (closest to the Start in Calistoga) and San Jose (closest to the Finish in Santa Cruz). View Course map.

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES (lowest fares at Southwest.com)
provides service for Oakland and San Jose Airports.

ACCOMMODATIONS (See Hotels for discounts)
Many teams stay in Calistoga on Friday and in Santa Cruz on Sunday. On Saturday night, runners may shower, rest and eat at Canada College (Exchange 24), or rest at hotels or residences.

CALISTOGA (the place for mineral waters, mud baths and massages)
is 75 miles north of San Francisco in Napa Valley. The Pre-race Dinner in Calistoga is Friday from 5:30–10 pm. Plan to arrive at the Start one hour before your assigned start time. There is a $100 fee to request or change a start time.

SANTA CRUZ, voted "Best Beach Town" in Northern California by Sunset Magazine,
is 85 miles south of San Francisco. The Relay finishes on the beach at the Beach Boardwalk, which features the 1924 Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and the 1911 Looff Carousel.
