VOLUNTEER ENTRY INFO. FOR CALIFORNIA'S LONGEST PARTY THANKS FOR VOLUNTEERING (even at 2 am, OUCH!) Exchanges are properties where one runner passes the baton to the next runner. Exchange addresses are available on maps. Use the table below as a guide to determine where and when to volunteer. For example, there are no shifts on Saturday in Santa Cruz County because runners are in Napa, Sonoma and Marin on Saturday.
At Canada College (Exchange 24 - open during the night for breakfast, showers and sleeping), two volunteer locations exist. Shift A, B and C volunteers report to the Canada College cafeteria to help with food preparation. Shift D and E volunteers report to Canada Rd. to manage runners during the baton exchange. |
