REGISTERED WALK TEAMS
are posted (see link below) after the team entry fee has been
processed. Corporate teams or team sponsors are shown in parentheses following the
team name. View Team Profiles.
WALK DIVISIONS ARE ABBREVIATED FOLLOWED BY CATEGORY
Open Men's is the default division since additional
criteria must be fulfilled to participate in another division. Categories
with less than 5 teams will be combined with another category.
Divisions: C=Corporate, L=Law Enforcement/Military,
O=Open (minimum age 16), S=Submasters (minimum age 30), M=Masters (minimum
age 40).
Categories: M=Men's (0-5 women), X=Mixed (6-11 women), W=Women's
(12 women).
Examples: SM=Submasters Men's, OX=Open Mixed, MM=Masters Men's.
START TIMES
are posted on the Registered Walk Teams page during the
third week of March. Using walker paces, start times are calculated to reduce
congestion. Teams that submit inaccurate pace times may start too early, walk ahead
of Exchange openings and miss the fun. Teams that finish more than 2 hours ahead of
their estimate will be penalized or disqualified. Captains must ensure walkers enter
their average minute per mile pace for a 10K.
THERE IS A $100 FEE TO REQUEST A START TIME OR A START
TIME CHANGE
because start time issues are time intensive. To make a request,
